Went out with Nate at Real Fishy Guide Service on the Salmon River and had an awesome day. Nate was professional, patient, and really knows this fishery. He put us on fish and helped with everything from rigging to presentations, which made a big difference in winter conditions. We landed multiple steelhead (including a couple absolute tanks). Highly recommend if you want a legit Salmon River steelhead trip.

First time fishing with Nate and we had a blast a really good teacher and was 100 percent worth the 5 hour drive here definitely booking again best steelhead guide

Nate was knowledgeable and professional. I booked a salmon trip with him on 10/18/25 to try and get my teens into some fish. Nate took us to a place where we all caught our limit. We will be booking with Nate in the future.

He's really knowledgeable when fishing for salmon. He knows the best spots to go to and how to catch them there. I am willing to recommend him to people.

Had an amazing time fishing with Nate! He’s real kind and knows where the fish are! During the time we came up, most places on the river were low and pretty rough for fishing so he took us to a super secret spot and helped me land my first salmon yet! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back!

Nate is a very skilled guide who helped us get on some fish even through challenging fishing conditions such as extremely low water during the end of a year-long drought. His knowledge of the river and his expertise in technique led to a successful day on the water. I'd recommend Real Fishy to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and experienced guide! Tight Lines!

I booked a last minute Steelhead drift boat trip with Nate on the Salmon River. Nate is an excellent guide who knows his stuff. He is also a super nice guy and a great guy to spend the day with. Nate took the time to explain techniques to me in detail and had lots of patience. Nate is a local guide who has grown up on the Salmon River and has been guiding for over 20 years. I was able to hook into and fight several steelhead and even a King Salmon on my trip. I finally landed one big one in the afternooon all by myself using what Nate had taught me! Nate is definitely a first class guide and I will do another trip with him the next time I head out to the Salmon River.

If you’re looking to learn how to fish or just put fish in the net this is your guide. Nate is extremely skilled at his craft and it shows. I use to have such a hard time hooking up with fish but after some pointers from him it’s become a breeze. Prior to the trip I said I wanted to land a steelhead and a salmon and that what we did ! Definitely going to be a yearly thing for me and the guys... Highly recommended

Let me just start off by saying Nate is more than just a guide! From the moment he picked us up to the very end he went above and beyond to help , especially working with my son. Despite the miserable weather we laughed and had an amazing experience with Nate!

This was our second time Salmon fishing with Nate and I'm pretty darn sure it won't be the last! Nate's a great guide and a fun guy to be around. Very likable and easy to have a great experience with! He's a local guy who truly knows the waters like the back of is hand and he'll put you in the best spots to catch fish, guaranteed!
